Description
The house is situated in the area of Maharees, which is a sandy peninsula and islands extending beyond the village of Castlegregory. Therefore this bungalow offers an ideal location for a beach centered holiday and an ideal base for touring the Dingle peninsula. It is fully furnished with three bedrooms, two double and one twin so can accommodate a party of up to six people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern utensils including a washing and drying machine and microwave. A log fire and colour television are located in the sitting-room. The house is located on a private site and the garage is also available for storing surfing equipment etc. The facilities of the houses include those listed below and many more to make your holiday enjoyable with the added bonus of beaches which are suitable for children and water sports.
Location
The house is located 20 minutes drive from Tralee town where a wide range of activities are available for the tourist, e.g. national folk theater, omniplex cinema, Aquadome, steam locomotive and many more. The house is situated 18 miles along the Dingle Peninsula from Tralee which stretches for some 48km westward from Tralee town. The Dingle Peninsula has more interesting antiquities, historic sites and varied mountain scenery than any other part of Ireland. The house is 3 miles from the village of Castlegregory where restaurants, craft shops and night entertainment can be enjoyed.
How To Get Here
The house is located 18 miles from Tralee town on the Tralee to Dingle road. Travel on the N86 for approximately 10 miles veering right at fork on road at Camp. Continue for approximately 5 miles. Turn right at sign for Castlegregory - village 1 mile. Proceed straight through village. At the end of the village take the road to Maharees/Fahamore continue for approximately three miles and take the right turn at the grotto. The house is the eighth house on the right hand side.
